LED spot lamps and recessed LED lighting uses three watts of energy consumption per lamp, four times the light compared to halogen of equivalent wattage and lasts four times as long as halogen. Cable lighting uses MR 16 LED spot lamps with 4.5 watts of energy consumption per lamp and four times the light compared to halogen or equivalent wattage. LED strip lighting uses 7.2 watts of energy per foot with 8 times the light compared to incandescent of equivalent wattage, and lasts 20 times as long as incandescent. The condo s “All Off” switch, typically located near the main entry, allows one to turn all lights off when exiting. Motion detectors and dimmer swtiches reduce light output and electricity use. These features make saving energy simple.
